Mr. Vikram Limaye

Mr. Vikram Limaye is an eminent business leader with over 30 years of experience in global financial markets, infrastructure, and economic policy. He served as the Managing Director and CEO of the National Stock Exchange of India from 2017 to 2022.

Prior to joining NSE, he served as the Managing Director & CEO of IDFC Limited, a diversified publicly listed financial services institution. He began his professional journey
in 1987 with Arthur Andersen in Mumbai and subsequently worked with Ernst & Young and Citibank in audit, advisory, and consumer banking. He later spent 8 years on Wall Street with Credit Suisse First Boston in investment banking, capital markets, structured finance and credit portfolio management.

Mr Limaye has served on numerous government and industry committees and was appointed by the Supreme Court of India to the Committee of Administrators for the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). He has also held board roles with various organizations, including the World Federation of Exchanges. Mr. Limaye holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce from H.R. College of Commerce & Economics, University of Bombay, is a Chartered Accountant from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and an MBA in Finance and Multinational Management from the prestigious Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, USA.
