Taikisha Ltd. Japan, established in the year 1913, completed its 100th year in April 2013. It started with the work of air conditioning systems & later on ventured into automotive painting solution (in Japan).
TEI has set-up its own manufacturing plants at Pune & Vadodara for sheet metal & special fabrications & has its own electrical automation control panel manufacturing plant at IMT Manesar.
The project was done inside the Government premises of Diesel Locomotive Works and it was required that a firm timeline, stringent security measures & strict safety rules are followed
Measures had to be taken for lifting the modules & other BOS materials from the ground to the rooftop with the help of machineries like hydra, chain pulley, etc
ENVIRONMENTAL BENEFITS
The solar PV system is expected to reduce CO2 emissions to the tune of 1130 million tonnes annually
FINANCIAL BENEFITS
The cost savings per unit from the system is about K1.25 per unit for 1st year and shall increase whilst the current electricity tariff escalates each year
Average life cycle of a solar PV system is 25 years and the payback period for this system is about 7 years and 6 months
