We commenced our manufacturing operations in 2009 with an initial solar PV module manufacturing capacity of 12 MW. Since then, we have significantly scaled our manufacturing footprint, reaching 15.50 GW of commissioned module manufacturing capacity as of August 2026, following the commissioning of our 5 GW module manufacturing facility at Vallam, Tamil Nadu, and our 6 GW module manufacturing facility at Gangaikondan, Tamil Nadu, more recently.
Our existing manufacturing facilities are strategically located across Falta SEZ in West Bengal, Oragadam, Vallam, and Gangaikondan in Tamil Nadu. These facilities benefit from access to ports, railways, and road networks, enabling us to efficiently serve both domestic and international markets.
Furthermore, we are strategically backward integrating into the solar value chain by establishing a 9 GW solar cell manufacturing facility at Gangaikondan, Tamil Nadu, targeted for completion by Fiscal 2027.
We are also focused on converging digital technologies with our manufacturing operations, using several tools such as artificial intelligence, cognitive modelling, machine learning, virtual reality, augmented reality and robotic process automation. Our manufacturing units are automated, utilising equipment and technologies from Japan, Germany, United States, Switzerland and China. Both our manufacturing facilities are certified under ISO 14001:2015 standard for environment management and the ISO 45001:2018 standard for occupational health and safety management systems implementation; while our Falta (West Bengal) facility is also certified ISO 9001:2015 for quality management systems and SA 8000:2014 for social accountability. We are also certified as per latest BIS and IEC product type testing and certification standards from TUV Rheinland IEC 61215: 2021/ IEC 61730- 1 & 2:2022 and product safety standards according to UL 1703 (Source: CRISIL Report). Furthermore, our R&D team has leveraged digitization and lean manufacturing initiatives that allow seamless processes, such as lean manufacturing, reducing and regulating wastage, and bringing in value engineering. In Fiscal 2024, this has enabled us to reduce the cost of poor quality by 39.55%, improve our yield by 0.17%, sustain our balance of raw material (“BORM”) yield at more than 99.95%, reduce our specific power consumption overall by 0.66% and reduce our specific water consumption by 35.83%.In CY 2022, our R&D lab located at Falta, West Bengal was also accredited by the National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (“NABL”) in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025:2017, making us the second solar company in India and the first in Eastern India to get such accreditation (Source: CRISIL Report). To further our R&D efforts, we are planning to build a Centre of Excellence (“COE”) in our facility at Falta (West Bengal) that will introduce, amongst other projects, a Digital Twin development project that enables real-time simulation, replicating physical processes and monitoring of our manufacturing processes in our facilities, which would then allow for predictive maintenance, process optimization and scenario testing. With quality at the core of our ethos, our modules undergo real-world simulated tests like thermal cycling, Potential Induced Degradation, Light Induced Degradation, damp heat, Ultraviolet exposure and degradation. Our processes are optimized through practice of lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methods.
