CHALLENGES & SOLUTIONS

During Pre-Sales Stage:
  • Lots of documentation was required in quick time & our in house team prepared & submitted them within predefined timeline in response to RFQ
  • Our team of experienced engineers mitigated all the obstacles to avoid any delay & within deadline prepared & submitted the commitment paper for Generation Guarantee to the authorities
During Pre-Sales Stage:
  • Heavy rainfall at site location created an obstacle on proper site survey resulting in little delay in finalization of MMS & overall design. Commendable high pre-engineering effort of VS team of engineers addressed this issue with and successfully designed the system within timeline
  • Team EPC of Vikram Solar has to manage & quicken the approval process of net metering from the Gujarat state DISCOM by submitting all the required documents & supportings

PLANNING & EXECUTION

Uniqueness of the project (USPs):
  • This project is Vikram Solar’s 1st VSL rooftop project in the city of Vadodara. Total 820 nos. solar PV modules were installed in the 270 kW rooftop solar plant

CHALLENGES & SOLUTIONS

Total 6240 nos. solar PV modules (approx.) were installed in the 2.15 MW rooftop solar plant. On an avg. 450 nos. of modules were installed per day to meet the challenge to complete the commissioning within deadline. 50 kW (1 nos.), 100 kW (17nos.) inverters used in the project.

RESULTS

The carport project is expected to help Maruti Suzuki Limited save around INR 5 Cr per year from energy generation.
Expected Annual Energy Yield 4,30,650 kWh. The plant is also expected to reduce CO2 emissions to the tune of 332.1 tonnes annually. The expected cost savings per unit from the system is about INR 5/-
