- Touching Lives

“A healthy society is a happy society. Good healthcare facilities are fundamental in the mental, physical and social well-being of the people.”

– H.K. Chaudhary

Nurturing a healthy community has been one of the primary objectives of Vikram Solar ever since its inception. From building world-class medical infrastructure to creating grass-root level health volunteers, the Company has been continually working towards strengthening the core health system. Concentrating its medical efforts in and around the small town of Bahal in Haryana, India, its health initiatives are widespread.

Manav Kalyan Hospital

Manav Kalyan Hospital is a 30-bedded charitable healthcare centre that plays a pivotal role in making advanced medical facilities available to the residents of Bahal and the surrounding 145-150 villages in Haryana. The hospital has a team of specialist doctors offering check-ups, X-rays and treatment free or at subsidized rates. With a dedicated Operating Theatre, the hospital is well-equipped for surgical interventions in areas of eye, ENT, dentistry, pediatrics, gynaecology and other general ailments. Manav Kalyan Hospital also offers ambulance service to nearby states in case of emergencies.

The hospital has also invested in a spectrophotometer, an advanced instrument for eye check-up which is used in these periodic eye camps.
