Research & Development at Vikram Solar

At Vikram Solar, we give careful attention to the testing of our products that in turn help us cut down on costs while boosting profits and maintaining the best quality standards, a trademark of our renowned ELDORA brand.

Quality Control
Vikram Solar set up its quality control process which follows the ISO 9001-2008 standard guidelines. Our quality control process can be broadly classified under three distinct phases:
- A thorough inspection of components like solar cells sourced from third party suppliers before their integration into PV modules and panels.
- Comprehensive testing of the finished products before packing.
- Inspecting the finished products before sending them out to the distributors for sale.

Our Products
Vikram Solar products are superior in quality and efficiency. Our products are designed to provide utmost efficiency to our global clientele. We call ourselves specialists, when it comes to poly crystalline photovoltaic module manufacturing. Our quality approved solar PV modules consists of large arrays of interconnected solar PV cells. To add protection, we encase these solar cells within a weatherproof frame. Our solar modules function effectively even under a wide variation in weather condition for years. We offer a wide range of modules from 5 Wp to 300 Wp. As a step to initiate vertical integration, Vikram Solar would gradually diversify into solar cell and wafer manufacturing.

Our Future Plans
At Vikram Solar, we always strive for perfection and try to forge innovation with simplicity. We have adopted vertical integration policy in our company operations which is expected to help us in our manufacturing process as well. We plan to venture into product manufacturing and gradually evolve as a vertically integrated PV manufacturer in the global sphere.
Products queued up for possible production include - solar cells and semiconductor wafers.
Solar cells are the small units inside a solar PV module presently manufactured by Vikram Solar. Our plan for setting up solar cells manufacturing facility is a small step towards vertical integration. This will reduce the cost of procuring them from cell manufacturers while maintaining a high standard in our product quality.
Semi conductor wafers are the second type of products that Vikram Solar plan to manufacture in the coming days. As semiconductor wafers are quite expensive to procure from third party suppliers, an in-house manufacturing facility would certainly reduce production cost which in turn would lower the cost of solar PV modules .
